Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Inventory Edge, LLC (“Inventory Edge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through our websites, RV reference tools, photo-processing services, accounts, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
Account and company information
We collect information you provide when registering or managing an account, including name, work email, optional direct phone and job title, company and branch name, business address, business phone, password credential, account roles, verification status, and policy acceptance records. Passwords are stored in hashed form rather than plain text.
RV searches and service activity
We may collect searches, filters, selected RV records, result counts, feature interactions, account access, login events, IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, product entitlement, subscription status, and usage measurements.
Uploaded photos and job information
When you use photo processing, we collect uploaded images, filenames and folder structure, stock or batch identifiers, processing instructions, processed images, job status, delivery information, and unit and photo counts.
Billing and communications
We may collect plan, invoice, transaction status, billing contact, and limited payment metadata. Payment-card information is submitted to and handled by our payment provider; we do not intend to store complete card numbers. We also collect messages and support requests you send us.
Cookies and similar technology
We use cookies or similar local technology for login sessions, security, preferences, and essential service operation. We may add privacy-respecting analytics as the Services develop and will update this Policy if those practices materially change.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Create, verify, secure, and support one shared Inventory Edge account.
- Provide RV searches, specifications, public third-party links, photo processing, storage, delivery, and customer support.
- Measure trial, onboarding, subscription, unit, and photo usage and enforce applicable limits.
- Process payments, maintain transaction records, prevent fraud, and administer subscriptions.
- Send account verification, security, service, billing, support, and other requested communications.
- Diagnose errors, maintain security, improve reliability and usability, and develop the Services.
- Comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect users, Inventory Edge, and others.
3. How we disclose information
We may disclose information:
- To service providers that help provide hosting, cloud storage, photo or AI processing, email delivery, payments, monitoring, security, and technical support. They may process information only for authorized services and subject to applicable contractual obligations.
- At your direction, such as when you open a third-party RV pricing or specification link or request delivery to another destination.
- For legal and safety reasons when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce agreements, investigate misuse, or protect rights and safety.
- In a business transaction involving a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar event, subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Photo and AI processing
Uploaded photos may be transmitted to cloud infrastructure and specialized image-processing or artificial-intelligence providers to perform the processing you request. Those providers may receive the image and technical instructions needed to perform the service. Do not upload photographs containing people, private documents, license plates, sensitive information, or other content unless you have authority to process it and its inclusion is necessary.
5. Public and third-party links
The RV tools may display links to public pages operated by J.D. Power, RVUSA, manufacturers, dealers, or others. When you follow an external link, the third party—not Inventory Edge—controls its collection and use of information. Review that website’s privacy policy.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts and business records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, satisfy legal obligations, prevent fraud, and maintain security. Uploaded and processed photos may be retained for active processing and delivery and then deleted or archived according to operational, contractual, backup, and legal requirements. Retention periods may differ by data type and plan. You may contact us about deletion as described below.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, password hashing, limited-purpose authentication tokens, and secure service configurations. No system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your password and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
8. Your choices and rights
You may update available account information, choose whether to provide optional direct phone or job-title information, and control browser cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent login. Depending on applicable law and your relationship with Inventory Edge, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information or to appeal a denied request.
Submit a request to support@myinventoryedge.com. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. Some information may be retained where permitted or required for security, transactions, legal compliance, or legitimate business records.
9. Children
The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
10. United States processing
Inventory Edge operates in the United States. Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version and effective date and provide additional notice when required. Material changes will apply prospectively as required by law.
